poor for Christ

i am asking God to show me what it means to be a disciple. among many things i am seeing that it was essential to be very minimalistic. think of what Jesus said to the wealthy young ruler, "get rid of everything you have and follow me". He also said, "foxs have homes, birds have homes, but I don't have a place to lay my head at night." i'm elated that i get to be poor for Christ!
